TCF takes a holistic approach to providing housing and services by focusing on improving the quality of life for those who have traditionally been disenfranchised. TCF strives to welcome all families that they can possibly help, regardless of their problems. All activity is directly related to ending homelessness, rather than for emergency shelter or temporary services. After an inter-departmental screening process, family members enter into a plan of action to set goals to help them become independent and self-sufficient. Comprehensive programs such as Life Skill Development, Money Management, Parenting Classes, Job Counseling, referrals and other tools necessary to promote economic and social sufficiency are provided. Though collaborative efforts our staff and volunteers and other Public Advocates, we strive to identify and resolve the outstanding issue; keeping families and children off the streets. www.theconcernedfamily.org
